Amanda Ahmed has dedicated her art career to exploring the wonders of the natural world through the genre of botanical art. Teaching allows her to share her expertise while continuing to develop her practice.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
About AManda
Amanda draws from the tradition of botanical illustration, focusing on observation and documentation. She works in graphite, coloured pencil, and watercolour, with an emphasis on drawing as the foundation of both her art and teaching practices. Holding a Master of Fine Art, Amanda has dedicated over 30 years to artistic development across various disciplines, including the past 20 years as a botanical artist.
